Upload your artwork and then complete your purchase of BOTH the exhaust and the engraving at the SAME time.
You can also purchase an unlimited exhaust from your favorite dealer and then send in the exhaust to be engraved
Your exhaust will be engraved within a week and sent to you
What kind of art works best for engraving?
Think of the kind of design that works best as a single color tattoo, simple logos, text, simple black and white art.
An engraving is limited to one color
A laser engraver carves lines and shapes, not pixels, so photos need to be converted
When art is saved in a file format of lines and shapes it's called "vector art" this is what the engraver requires
LeoVince website has a simple converter that will take any photo and convert it to black and white vector art...try it.
If you have a design in BLACK ONLY and in .eps or .ai format just use "Upload Vector Art"...this will always give you the best results
If you have an image with a WHITE background and would like to have our simple image converter turn it into art then use "Upload Image Convert to Art
High contrast images with plain white backgrounds work the best
What is used to engrave my exhaust?
Specifically LeoVince USA uses a Multimode, Q-Switched YAG Laser
The Production department will take your vectorized artwork and apply it in a two pass process
After the first "etching" pass the pulse rate of the laser is altered and a second pass is made to deepen the image and add contrast
You can clean and lightly polish your exhaust without causing removal or damage to your engraving
How to send in an exhaust for engraving If you've already purchased your Unlimited exhaust from your trusted dealer you'll need to submit your art and purchase engraving here on the LeoVince website. Look up your bike by year make and model on this website and you'll see an engraving product is available for it. Submit your art, get your engraving number, buy your engraving service and then send in your exhaust as shown below.
