LeoVince-equipped Team SRC Kawasaki Wins 24 Hours of Le Mans
LE MANS, FRANCE—Team SRC Kawasaki won the 34th edition of the 24 Hours of LeMans last weekend on a Kawasaki ZX-10R equipped with a LeoVince Factory R Corsa exhaust. Julien DaCosta, Gregory Leblanc and Olivier Four were the victorious riders.
Qualifying third on the grid, DaCosta made an exceptional running start and led after the first turn. It was the beginning of an incredible, non-stop 24-hour battle for victory between Team SRC Kawasaki and the Suzuki-SERT entry. By Sunday morning, the dueling motorcycles were still lapping on the same minute when the Suzuki was finally forced to pit with a technical problem, losing one lap and ultimately the race. This was the turning point of the race and from then on, the LeoVince-equipped machine led the race until the checkered flag.
After a suspenseful race-long battle, the LeoVince Factory R Corsa-shod Kawasaki prevailed in the 34th running of the historic event, taking home not only the victory but also a new record for the endurance race. Team SRC Kawasaki also set a record as the first team to win the 24-hour LeMans race twice in a row with the same riders on board!
