Team KRT Congratulates Ryan Villopoto

Last International Motocross race of the season, the Motocross of Nations was an opportunity for the Kawasaki Racing Team to welcome three top foreign riders under its awning. American Ryan Villopoto, Japanese Hiroaki Arai and Takuya Mihara, got the support of the team members during the weekend alongside Jonathan Barragan.

A huge crowd, a fantastic atmosphere and great racing, this 65th Motocross of Nations was a success for the sport! Runner up in the standings after the first two races behind team France, the Americans dominate the last race of the day with Ryan Villopoto and Ryan Dungey to conquer another success in this National team race. Double US champion this season and longtime Kawasaki rider, Ryan Villopoto was the strongest American rider this weekend with a 3rd place and a win. Seventh of the MX1/MX2 race, Jonathan Barragan secured with a 14th place in the last race a top ten result for team Spain with an eighth position. Not used to such racing conditions, the Japanese riders finished the event in 13th position, among the thirty six countries which entered the event.

Jonathan has two more Spanish championship races at his calendar, and then the season will be finished for the team. Testing sessions will then start as soon as possible, with Gautier Paulin and Xavier Boog; second at the Motocross of Nations with team France and winner of the second heat, Gautier Paulin was for the second weekend in a row one of the best MX1 rider.

Thierry Chizat Suzzoni: "It was a great honor for us to welcome the factory Kawasaki riders from USA and Japan in our team. This event is always different than all the others, and it's a good opportunity to build a stronger relationship with the Japanese and American team staff. Since several months now we have a technical cooperation with Kawasaki USA, and this weekend we share our experience with a common goal: to give Kawasaki as many success as possible."
