KWS Motorsports and Millennium Technologies Win Again at WERA Barber National

Apex Racing's Tim Hunt won both the Senior Superbike and F1 races and finished in second in Open Superstock on his Dunlop-shod, Race Tech-equipped Suzuki GSX-R1000. Unfortunately the WERA Superbike race was cancelled due to a late thunderstorm. Hunt's podium finish in Open Superstock put's him fifteen points ahead in the championship with one round left. Officials have not decided on a solution for WERA Superbike at this time.

KWS Motorsport's Luie Zendejas continued to drop his personal best lap time at a every track he has been too this year. At Barber, Zendejas finished on the podium in the F1 race and in sixth position in Open Superstock on his Millennium Technologies sponsored BMW S1000RR. Luie is currently third in WERA Superbike points and fourth in Open Superstock in his first full season as an expert.

Tim HuntTim Hunt - "All in all it was a really good weekend! The KWS built GSX-R1000 was a bullet all weekend. The bike came off the truck with a pretty good set up, but Race Tech helped fine tune it for sure. I was really looking forward to the WERA Superbike race at the end of the day and I think we had a great chance of winning it, but with the lightning safety has to come first. I really want to thank my mechanic Aaron Ralph and all sponsors for their support!"

Luie ZendejasLuie Zendejas -"Barber is a difficult track for the BMW S1000RR, but with the help of Michael Godin and Mike Fitzgerald we were able to come up with a great set up and came away with another podium finish. Thanks a ton to Thermosman Suspension, Riders Discount, and Drippin Wet for all the help this weekend!"
